Setia Tropical/Setia Cyberjaya Malaysia

This 4,300 sq ft semi-detached home in SP Setia’s Setia Eco Glades township, Cyberjaya, was designed as a tropical home for mid-to-high-end buyers, delivered over 6 weeks.

Design Concept & Approach

The layout avoids horizontal obstructions entirely, keeping sightlines wide and open, while a long timber ceiling feature runs from the living area through to dining, visually stretching the space and tying the two zones together. Walnut and bronze decor accents ground the palette in a warm, tropical register throughout. One of the home’s most distinctive touches is a custom window-side bench that creates a bay-window moment, a classic country-home feature reimagined here, giving residents a spot to read while taking in the landscape outside. Matching timber blinds carry that tropical, homey feeling into the bedrooms, rounding out a residence built on biophilic, naturally ventilated design principles suited to the eco-conscious character of the township.
