Braun Büffel, a heritage brand renowned for its timeless leather craftsmanship, embarked on an exciting journey to redefine its retail presence and connect with a new generation of shoppers. This project focused on creating a modern retail experience that resonates with Millennials and female shoppers while honoring Braun Büffel’s legacy. The challenge was to balance the brand’s established identity with a fresh, innovative approach to store design.

The primary goals of this Braun Büffel store design transformation were to:

  • Modernize the Brand Experience: Evolve Braun Büffel’s store design to reflect a contemporary identity, emphasizing innovation, elegance, and inclusivity.  
  • Expand Target Audience: Attract Millennial and female shoppers by creating a welcoming and engaging retail environment.  
  • Enhance Customer Engagement: Design store layouts that capture attention, encourage exploration, and foster a stronger connection between the customer and the brand.  
  • Showcase Self-Expression: Create dedicated spaces within the store that empower customers to express their individuality and style
  • Repositioned LED Screen: The traditional storefront LED screen was innovatively repositioned to face the main walking direction, maximizing visibility and capturing the attention of passersby. This design choice encourages potential customers to slow down, take notice, and enter the store.  
  • Inviting Entrance: A striking ceiling feature was introduced to guide the eye towards the U-shaped counter, creating a sense of arrival and framing the store’s entrance.
    Curved Design Elements: The store design incorporates curves and a continuous flow to create a modern, innovative, and inviting atmosphere. This use of curves introduces a softer, more feminine touch, aligning with the goal of attracting a broader audience.
  • Dedicated Space for Individuality: A self-expression counter was designed to allow customers to mix and match collections, fostering creativity and personal style. This area puts the customer at the center, with products serving to enhance their self-expression, resonating with the Millennial focus on individuality.

    This store design transformation has positioned Braun Büffel as a forward-thinking brand that blends its rich heritage with a commitment to contemporary luxury. The new retail experience creates a powerful dialogue between the brand and its customers, fostering a sense of connection and inspiring self-expression.
